Art History Coloring Book:

 Timeless Nudes

The nude figure has been represented in art for as long as humans have created. Timeless Nudes is a coloring book of art dating all the way from 28,000 B.C.E. to 2006 (C.E.). I enjoyed juxtaposing well known artists' works with work by lesser known creators; straying from the typical male artist depicting female form helped me find work by some amazing artists that I had never heard of!

Artists: Morris Hirshfield, Sylvia Sleigh, Caravaggio, Renee Cox, Hans Memling, Pan Yuliang, Emma Amos, Ingres, Dana Schutz, Jacqueline Marvel, Tamara deLempicka, Picasso, Dame Barbara Hepworth, Harriet Hosmer, Lichtenstein, David Hockney, Bronzino, Artemesia Gentileschi, Mickalene Thomas, John D. Graham, Botticelli, John Currin, Michaelangelo, Paul Delvaux, Joan Semmel, Cecilia Vicuna, Masaccio, Alice Neel, Amrita Sher-Gil, Marie-Louise Von Motesiczky, Carrie Mae Weems.

All pages were illustrated and designed with love by yours truly in 2019.

I felt this book to be a more personal journey; As a woman artist myself, it was inspiring find this assortment of Self Portraits throughout such a large spectrum of time.
